Trapezoidal thread nut
Trapezoidal Thread Drive
Nuts
Trapezoidal screw nuts are designed for reliable force transmission, robust operation, and long service life. Due to their application-specific design and high manufacturing quality, they can be optimally adapted to different requirements and ensure safe and smooth operation even under high loads.

Trapezoidal thread nut – reliable and robust
The trapezoidal nut is the central element of trapezoidal screw drives. It enables linear motion through sliding friction between the screw and the nut and is particularly suitable for applications where high load capacity, self-locking properties, and a simple design are required.
In contrast to ball screw nuts, the force is transmitted directly via the thread flanks, without circulating balls. As a result, trapezoidal nuts are particularly robust and less sensitive to harsh environmental conditions.
Kammerer trapezoidal nuts can be manufactured according to DIN standards, in-house standards or specifically according to customer drawings.

Operating Principle and Technical Features
The load nut transmits the axial force and ensures precise, uniform movements. The locking nut serves as a safety component and automatically takes over the load in case of wear or defect.
Features
- Self-locking trapezoidal thread prevents back driving
- Integrated safety function through safety nut
- Special profile for precise parallel operation and reduction of deformation
Advantages
- Ideal for lifting platforms, lifting systems and safety-relevant applications.
- Bietet höchste Sicherheit, lange Lebensdauer und präzise Bewegungen auch im Mehrspindelbetrieb.
