Ball Screw Drives
Nuts
Kammerer ball screw nuts are designed for precise force transmission, high running smoothness, and long service life. Their application-specific design and high manufacturing quality enable optimal integration into various machine concepts and ensure reliable performance in operation.
ball screw nuts
The ball screw nut is the heart of ball screw drives. It enables linear movements with high precision, speed, and efficiency. It contains balls that roll in the thread grooves of the spindle, enabling movement with minimal rolling friction, in contrast to the sliding friction of trapezoidal thread nuts.
By rotating the spindle, the nut moves linearly along the spindle. Conversely, rotation of the spindle can also be generated by displacing the nut.
The appropriate ball screw nuts can be manufactured according to DIN standards, company standards, or customer drawings. You decide whether to use a single nut or a double nut for the ball screw drive.
For long spindles, we alternatively offer driven nuts that are supplied with a complete bearing package.

Technical Information
Ball screw drives combine high dynamics with precise and efficient force transmission. With efficiencies of up to 98%, they are ideally suited for fast and highly accurate motion sequences.
Despite medium load capacity, they provide high rigidity and dimensional stability through uniform force distribution.
