Drive unit

A drive unit is a complete assembly designed to generate or transmit mechanical motion. It includes a motor (e.g., electric, servo, hydraulic or pneumatic) as well as additional components such as gearboxes, couplings, bearings and, where applicable, control or sensor elements.

The drive unit converts energy into rotary or linear motion, providing the required torque or force to drive machine axes, tools or other moving components. It is used in almost all industrial applications, for example in machine tools, robots, conveyor systems or automation systems.
